Propensity of resultant residue with different solvent accessibility. Propensity of 9 different types of mutations resulting in different solvent accessible (buried, intermediate and exposed) residues generating a helical conformation from the non-redundant database which map into non-helical conformation in the SCOP database. The propensity depicted here is similar to that shown in Figure 3. However, while calculating this propensity solvent accessibility of the resultant mutant residue is considered rather than solvent accessibility of the mutated residue.
