Efficiency of Mistic homologues in promoting expression of C-terminally fused membrane proteins. Successful cleavage the fusion protein (upper arrows) at the protease sensitive linker between a particular cargo protein and its respective Mistic domain in the presence of thrombin (columns marked "+"), confirms the identity of the desired product (lower arrows).
