  1. For yeast, those proteins were deemed singular for which no binding partners have been found in each study (they were not cross-checked against each other). For E. coli, those proteins in Swiss-Prot were deemed singular (altogether 1922 proteins), for which neither in IntAct nor in the Swiss-Prot annotation lines did we find any evidence of complex-forming.
