The high-occupancy glyoxylate complex is shown in yellow and the corresponding sequences of the ternary complex in green. Portions of the enzyme that become ordered upon acetyl-CoA binding in the ternary complex are colored red and also depicted in stick form. Acetyl-CoA is colored slate blue in space-filling form.
